Sensation in Jamshedpur After Mutilated Body of Newborn Found Near Baroda Ghat

JAMSHEDPUR – A shocking incident came to light on Wednesday morning in the Baroda Ghat area of Jamshedpur after the mutilated body of a newborn baby was found near the riverside, leaving local residents horrified.

According to information received, local people who had gone for a morning walk first noticed the body lying near the ghat and immediately informed the police. As the news spread across the locality, a large number of people gathered at the scene and panic gripped the area.

Police personnel reached the spot soon after receiving the information and started a preliminary investigation into the matter. Officers also questioned nearby residents to find out how the newborn’s body reached the location and whether anyone had seen suspicious activity in the area.

During the initial investigation, Bagbera police arrived at the scene but later clarified that the location did not fall under their jurisdiction. After verification, the incident was found to be under the jurisdiction of RIT police station, following which the concerned police team was informed.

Police are currently investigating the case from all possible angles. Efforts are underway to identify the newborn and determine who abandoned the body near the ghat. The incident has sparked fear and intense discussion among residents in the surrounding areas.
