DalSA Officials Educate Patamda Students on Rights and Safety

JAMSHEDPUR – A legal awareness programme was organised at PM Shri Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya in Patamda under an ongoing DalSA public outreach campaign.
The programme took place at PM Shri Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya in Bangurda, Patamda. The campaign followed directions from NALSA and JHALSA. Moreover, the initiative is continuing for 90 days across the district.
DalSA secretary Kumar Saurabh Tripathi attended the programme as chief guest. Meanwhile, LADC chief Videsh Sinha joined as special guest. LADC assistant member Manoj Kumar also remained present.
Kamalpur police station in-charge Ashok Kumar addressed the students. Moreover, officials explained DalSA’s objectives and public welfare responsibilities. They also discussed citizens’ constitutional rights and duties.
Students received information about the Right to Education during the session. Meanwhile, speakers explained good touch and bad touch awareness carefully. Detailed information about the POCSO Act was also shared.
Officials also discussed child marriage and child labour concerns. In contrast, awareness about domestic violence and drug addiction was highlighted separately. Human trafficking and cyber fraud risks were also explained thoroughly.
The programme aimed to improve legal awareness among schoolchildren. Moreover, authorities encouraged students to report crimes without hesitation. A participant said awareness programmes strengthen confidence among young students.
School warden Kumari Saro Hansda attended the programme. Meanwhile, teacher Rajni Murmu also remained present during the event. DalSA PLVs Shib Shankar Mahato, Nanda Rajak, Phatik Chandra Mahato, Budheshwar Murmu and Lakshmikant Gop also joined the awareness session in Jamshedpur district.
