JAMSHEDPUR – The land dispute surrounding the under-construction residential project “The Sapphire” located at Mouza-Jamalpur in Adityapur has intensified after one party addressed a press conference and raised serious allegations regarding the ownership of the land.
The complainant alleged that the project is being constructed on disputed land and that several legal cases related to the matter are currently pending before different courts. According to the claim, around 3.97 acres of land belongs to their side and the property was registered without any lawful partition before construction work began.
It was further alleged that the builder managed to get the building map approved by providing incorrect information to the authorities. The complainant also questioned banks for allegedly providing loans to customers for purchasing flats in the project despite the ongoing dispute.
The matter is reportedly pending in courts ranging from the Civil Court to the Jharkhand High Court. The complainant appealed to prospective buyers and investors to thoroughly verify all land and legal documents before investing in the project, warning that their hard-earned money could get stuck if the dispute escalates further.
