Prominent Katha Vachak Dr. Sanjeev Krishna Thakur Narrates Epic Tales at Shrimad Bhagwat Katha

At the ongoing Shrimad Bhagwat Katha at Shri Rajasthan Shiv Mandir, renowned Katha Vachak Dr. Sanjeev Krishna Thakur shares teachings on morality and truth.

JAMSHEDPUR – Dr. Sanjeev Krishna Thakur Ji Maharaj, a respected Katha Vachak from Sridham Vrindavan, rendered a profound discourse on the tales of the Pandavas, King Parikshit’s curse, and the manifestation of Lord Shukadeva during the second day of the week-long Shrimad Bhagwat Katha at Shri Rajasthan Shiv Mandir in Jugsalai.

According to Dr. Thakur, one’s life journey is bound to encounter countless obstacles and challenges, particularly when one adheres to the principles of morality and truth. Some individuals might resort to deception as an easy way around these problems. Nonetheless, he emphasized that divine help comes to those who persist in truthfulness in the face of adversity. The Pandavas’ life serves as an illustration of this tenet, as they remained steadfast in their commitment to truthfulness.

Dr. Thakur also shed light on the Bhagwat Mahatmya, elaborating on its significance.

After the Katha session on the second day, the Garhwal family, who were the hosts of the event, performed the Vyasa Peeth’s Aarti, a ritual of devotion. The Bhagwat Katha, orchestrated by Mali Ram and Ghanshyam Das Garhwal, witnessed a large influx of devotees from various regions. The religious gathering was further embellished by Dr. Thakur’s melodious narration of the Bhagwat Katha.
