JAMSHEDPUR – Two parked buses were reduced to ashes after a suspected short circuit triggered a major fire in Sankosai under Jamshedpur late Sunday night.
A major fire erupted in Sankosai under Olidih police station limits. The incident occurred near Road Number One late Sunday night.
Meanwhile, flames quickly spread across two parked buses. Both vehicles were completely destroyed within minutes.
Local residents rushed outside after noticing heavy smoke. Panic briefly gripped the surrounding neighborhood.
However, witnesses suspected an electrical short circuit caused the blaze. Sparks reportedly emerged before flames intensified rapidly.
Fire department teams reached the location soon after alerts emerged. Firefighters controlled the flames after prolonged efforts.
Moreover, police personnel also arrived at the site immediately. Officials started examining the exact cause behind the incident.
