Rotary Club of Jamshedpur NextGen Launched for Young Professionals

Club aims to bring together young leaders; inaugurated at Aura Resort, Jamshedpur.

JAMSHEDPUR – Rotary International expanded its presence in Jamshedpur with the launch of the Rotary Club of Jamshedpur NextGen, a new initiative aimed at young professionals and leaders.

The inauguration took place at the scenic Aura Resort in Dobo on November 17, with 25 members inducted into the club.

The club includes professionals such as chartered accountants, engineers, administrators, entrepreneurs, and corporate executives from reputed organizations, including Tata Group.

Speaking at the event, District Chair for Next Generation Membership, Rtn. Anjani Nidhi, highlighted Rotary International’s global reach, with 1.4 million members across 200 countries.

“Rotary is committed to community service in areas such as education, sanitation, health, and environmental protection. The NextGen club will work with the ethos of ‘Service Above Self’,” said Nidhi.

The club was established with the support of eight existing Rotary clubs from Jamshedpur and Chaibasa. Prominent Rotarians, including Rtn. Manish Chaudhary, Subhrojit Basu, and Shweta Chand, played a key role in its formation.

Past District Governor Pratim Banerjee administered the oath to the new members, including President Rtn. Animesh Chapolia and Secretary Rtn. Khushboo Khanna.

The event was graced by District Governor Bipin Chachan, First Lady Shilpi Chachan, and other dignitaries, who congratulated the new team.
