TMH Launches Round-the-Clock ‘TMH Saathi’ Helpline for Patients

Tata Main Hospital Partners with Digitide to Deliver 24×7 Integrated Patient Support at 033 6902 2333

Key Points:

  • TMH Saathi helpline launched at 033 6902 2333 for 24×7 patient support
  • Digitide, a professional call centre firm, manages the new platform
  • Covers OPD bookings, complaints, and feedback across TMH facilities

JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Main Hospital has replaced its limited-hours in-house telephonic desk with a professionally managed round-the-clock helpline called TMH Saathi, developed in partnership with call centre service provider M/s Digitide.

The launch was announced at a media interaction held in the presence of Dr. Vinita Singh, General Manager, Medical Services, Tata Steel. The new platform marks a significant shift in how the hospital handles patient communication. However, the earlier in-house desk had operated only during restricted hours, limiting patient access.

TMH Saathi is reachable at 033 6902 2333. The helpline operates without interruption, seven days a week. In addition, it covers multiple TMH facilities under a single contact point.

The scope of services available through the helpline is as follows:

Facility Covered Services Available
TMH Main Hospital OPD bookings, rescheduling, complaint management, patient feedback
TMH Clinics OPD bookings, rescheduling, complaint management, patient feedback
TMH Tinplate OPD bookings, rescheduling, complaint management, patient feedback
Arogya Bhawan Health Check-up Centre OPD bookings, rescheduling, complaint management, patient feedback

Officials from Tata Steel Medical Services said the platform is designed for faster response times and structured complaint resolution. The system also aims at efficient query handling. On the other hand, the earlier setup lacked the capacity for integrated, multi-facility coverage.

A senior official said the helpline reflects TMH’s commitment to technology-enabled service excellence. The hospital serves a wide community across Jamshedpur and adjoining areas. Moreover, the transition to a professionally managed platform is expected to improve the overall patient experience considerably.

Tata Main Hospital is one of the region’s most established healthcare institutions. It has consistently upgraded its services over the years. The TMH Saathi helpline is the latest in a series of patient-centric initiatives by the hospital.
