East Singhbhum to Hold District-Wide Disability Assessment Camps

11 Camps Scheduled Across Blocks from January 11 to February 27

JAMSHEDPUR – East Singhbhum district is set to organize comprehensive disability assessment camps across various blocks under DC’s directive.

District Magistrate Ananya Mittal has initiated this healthcare drive. The camps will operate from January to February 2025.

“These camps will bring medical services closer to people with disabilities,” remarked a senior health official.

Medical Expertise

The Civil Surgeon has confirmed specialist participation. Moreover, the team will include experts from six medical disciplines.

Furthermore, specialists in orthopedics and ENT will attend. Meanwhile, psychiatrists and ophthalmologists will also provide services.

Camp Schedule

Community Health Center Potka will host the first camp. Additionally, Patamda’s center will organize the second camp.

On the other hand, Ghatshila’s Subdivision Hospital will conduct assessments on January 28. The final camp is scheduled in Dumaria.

Urban Coverage

Gandhi Maidan in Mango will host an urban camp. Besides, ten other locations will serve rural areas.

In addition, the initiative aims to simplify certificate issuance. The camps will operate according to a predetermined schedule.
