RAMGARH – Patratu Police in Ramgarh district achieved a major breakthrough during an anti-crime checking drive after recovering 10.19 grams of brown sugar, also known as heroin, from two youths riding a motorcycle near Nalanda Nursing Home School on Railway Station Road.
During interrogation, the detained youths revealed the identity of the supplier, following which police conducted a raid and arrested the third accused involved in the drug trade. The arrested persons have been identified as Vicky Kumar Singh, Deepak Singh and Arjun Kumar Mahto.
Police also seized a Hero Honda Splendor motorcycle, two Android mobile phones and cash from the accused. A case has been registered under the NDPS Act and all three accused have been sent to judicial custody.
Police officials stated that investigation is continuing and raids are being conducted to identify and arrest other people connected to the drug trafficking network.
