JAMSHEDPUR – The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has launched a sharp attack on the Central government over the ongoing fuel crisis in Jharkhand and the alleged irregularities in the NEET examination.
JMM state spokesperson Kunal Sarangi directly targeted the Prime Minister. He said the Prime Minister had ignored the ground realities of the country. Meanwhile, he alleged that the PM had left citizens standing in queues for petrol and diesel.
Sarangi said inflation had reached its peak across the nation. On the other hand, he pointed out that names of BJP leaders had surfaced in the NEET paper leak case. He argued this reflected the direction in which the country was heading.
He further alleged that the Prime Minister’s relentless election rallies demonstrated how the PM had ignored the global crisis. Sarangi said the consequences of those decisions were now being felt by citizens across the country.
The JMM leader demanded that a law be enacted for the purchase of petrol and diesel for every Indian citizen. He insisted the rules should apply strictly to all. Moreover, he said politicians, ministers, and government officials should be covered under the same law without exception.
During the demonstration, JMM leaders rode bicycles as a mark of protest against the Central government’s policies. The protest was held in Jamshedpur.
