The incident took place under Sialjori police station limits in district. The case created panic among local residents for several hours.

Meanwhile, police received information through Dial 112 around 11 P.M. on May 19. The caller reported that a man was threatening his former wife with a pistol.

Following the alert, Bokaro police formed a special SIT team immediately. Officers launched a rapid operation under senior police supervision.

Police arrested the accused shortly after reaching the location. A country-made pistol, live cartridges, and a motorcycle were seized.
