Raid in Bodam Village Led to Recovery of 50 Beer Bottles

JAMSHEDPUR – A man was arrested after an excise department raid uncovered beer bottles marked for sale outside Jharkhand in East Singhbhum district.

The operation was conducted on June 7. It followed departmental directions.

Moreover, the raid took place in Chamedih village. The village falls under Bodam police station limits.

Officials recovered 50 bottles of Haywards Bold beer. The bottles carried West Bengal sale markings.

Meanwhile, excise personnel detained Ranjit Gop, alias Patiya. He was found during the operation.

Furthermore, authorities registered a case against the accused. Relevant excise law provisions were applied.

Subsequently, the arrested man was sent to judicial custody.

In addition, officials said enforcement drives would continue. The focus remained illegal liquor activities.

Moreover, strict action would continue against offenders. The campaign covered the entire district.
