JAMSHEDPUR – The East Singhbhum Congress organized a massive protest march condemning Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s recent remarks about Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.

Former Rajya Sabha MP Pradeep Kumar Balmuchu joined the demonstration at Dr. Ambedkar’s statue. Meanwhile, participants offered floral tributes to honor the Constitution architect’s legacy.

Growing Political Tensions

The protest highlighted escalating tensions between Congress and BJP. Moreover, demonstrators criticized the FIR against Rahul Gandhi. “Such actions reflect a systematic attempt to suppress opposition voices,” a senior party member stated.

Dr. Ambedkar drafted the Indian Constitution between 1947 and 1950. Furthermore, he served as India’s first Law Minister. Besides, he championed social reforms throughout his political career.
