Grand Aarti Held at Surya Mandir Ghat Amidst Heavy Rainfall

The Sidhgora Surya Mandir Committee organized a grand aarti on Tuesday evening, inspired by the renowned Ganga Aarti of Varanasi, attracting a huge crowd despite heavy rainfall.

JAMSHEDPUR – A grand aarti at Surya Mandir Ghat in Sidhgora, inspired by Varanasi’s Ganga Aarti, mesmerized devotees on Tuesday evening.

The event saw a massive turnout of devotees despite the heavy downpour, with everyone engrossed in the spiritual atmosphere.

The sound of conches, drums, and bells filled the air, accompanied by fireworks, creating a divine spectacle.

Odisha Governor and former Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Raghubar Das, attended the aarti with his family, expressing immense spiritual peace.

A group of priests from Varanasi, along with 15 local priests, conducted the aarti with Vedic chants.

Raghubar Das praised the Surya Mandir Committee for organizing an event reminiscent of Varanasi’s Ganga Aarti, bringing spiritual fervor to Jamshedpur.

He also congratulated the team of priests who traveled from Varanasi to participate in the event.

The community witnessed a unique blend of devotion and celebration, as the sounds of bells and conches resonated through the atmosphere.

The sight of the aarti amidst the flowing water of the Surya Mandir Ghat was a visual treat.

Temple committee’s general secretary, Akhilesh Chaudhary, expressed gratitude towards the devotees who braved the rain to attend the event, believing the rain to be a blessing from Lord Indra.

The entire event showcased an incredible display of faith and devotion, bringing together thousands of people.
