Jamshedpur’s TMH Hosts Prestigious Steel Medical Officers Meet
Tata Main Hospital in Jamshedpur is set to host AISMOC 2024, a major event for steel medical officers, focusing on healthcare sustainability and innovation.
JAMSHEDPUR – The All India Steel Medical Officers Conference (AISMOC) 2024, a significant event in the medical fraternity, is on the horizon, with Tata Main Hospital (TMH) in Jamshedpur preparing for its commencement.
The conference promises to delve into various healthcare advancements and innovative practices, including Robotic Surgery, ECMO, and Bedside Imaging.
These discussions form part of an extensive agenda, also featuring two panel discussions and five workshops.
Key highlights include Air Marshal (Dr.) Rajan Chaudhry’s Steel Oration and an engaging Medi Quiz, underscoring Tata Steel’s dedication to health and sustainability.
Dr. P Arun, Director of TMC Kolkata, is among the four guest lecturers, bringing attention to cancer care access in Eastern India.
A line-up of renowned experts, such as Dr. Anup Rawool, Geneticist from Bangalore; Dr. Sukesh Nair, Professor & Head, Hematology & Transfusion Medicine, CMC Vellore; and Dr. Sanjay Pandey, Urologist & Andrologist from Kokilaben Hospital, Mumbai, will enrich the event with their insights.
The conference’s seven Award Paper Sessions span a broad range of medical fields, highlighting the latest research and findings in healthcare.
Sessions on "Artificial Intelligence and Its Impact on Future Health" and "Golden Hour – Cardiac Health for Steel Employees" are set to be major draws.
With over 500 delegates, including 456 Medical Doctors from various Tata Steel medical divisions, the event underscores the vast reach and influence of this conference.
Scheduled to be held at TMH and Savak Nanavati Technical Institute (SNTI), Bistupur, the conference spans from February 1-4.
Chanakya Chaudhary, Vice President (Corporate Services) at Tata Steel, will grace the event as the Chief Guest during the inaugural ceremony on February 3.
The Jharkhand State Medical Council recognizes the importance of this conference, accrediting it for 11 credit hours.
