JAMSHEDPUR – A tiger has been sighted in Patamda, Jamshedpur, causing significant concern among residents. After its presence created fear in West Bengal, the tiger reportedly reached Gobarghusi in the Patamda region, leaving footprints and audible roars.
Villagers on Edge as Tiger Moves Close to Residential Areas
Footprints were found in the villages of Kukru and Apo, with locals hearing the tiger’s roars. Two villagers, Ajit Singh and Vrikodar Sabar, reportedly saw the tiger from a close distance. Their account led to swift action by the forest department.
Authorities Deploy Measures to Contain the Situation
Forest officials confirmed the footprints belonged to a tiger. A special team from Palamu conducted a site inspection, validating the claims. CCTV cameras have been placed in the affected areas to monitor the tiger’s movements.
