JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Main Hospital is organizing a Walkathon on December 1, 2024, to commemorate World AIDS Day.

The event begins at 6:30 A.M. at the Founder’s Statue, located within the hospital premises, and will cover a 2-kilometer route.

The initiative seeks to create awareness about HIV/AIDS while encouraging community participation.

World AIDS Day is observed annually on December 1 to unite people worldwide in the fight against HIV/AIDS and support those living with the disease.

This year’s theme, “Take the Rights Path: My Health, My Right,” focuses on ensuring access to healthcare and eliminating barriers to treatment.

A hospital representative stated, “We aim to engage the community in understanding HIV/AIDS better and fighting stigma.”

The Walkathon is open to all members of the public, with registration beginning at 6:15 A.M.
