Dr. Shubham Tripathi discusses SCM intricacies at Faculty Development Program

NIT Jamshedpur professor shares insights on supply chain management at RVS College’s faculty program.

JAMSHEDPUR – Dr. Shubham Tripathi from NIT Jamshedpur delivered a lecture on Supply Chain Management at RVS College of Engineering and Technology.

The lecture was part of the third day of a seven-day Faculty Development Program.

Dr. Tripathi, a Professor in the Department of Production and Industrial Engineering at NIT, explored the complexities of supply chain management.

He explained that SCM involves overseeing a network of interconnected businesses for effective product and service delivery.

The lecture covered all aspects of SCM, from the origin of goods to their consumption.

Dr. Tripathi discussed the storage of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products as part of SCM.

The professor also provided insights into business processes and challenges in supply chain management.

Professor Krishna Murari, Dean of Administration, welcomed the chief guest with a bouquet of flowers.

Professor Shailendra Kumar Prasad from the Mechanical Engineering Department presented Dr. Tripathi with a memento.

Faculty members from various departments of RVS College attended the informative session.
