Kadma resident found dead near P&M Mall in Bistupur, family suspects foul play

Jamshedpur: A youth, Roshan Verma, a resident of Kadma Shashtri Nagar was found dead near P&M Mall at Bistupur. The family members of the deceased have alleged foul play, while the police had informed them that Roshan had died in an accident.

The deceased, Roshan Verma, who resided in Kadma Shastri Nagar, was found dead Wednesday night in the vicinity of P&M Mall under the jurisdiction of Bistupur police station.

The police told the family that it was an accident.

However, the family members still think that it must have been a murder.

According to the family, before boarding a car at approximately 5 o’clock in the evening, Roshan had spoken to a person over the phone.

He chatted with his family on the phone till 11 PM.

However, when the family reached him on the phone again at around 11.30 pm, the police informed them about an accident.

Roshan was brought to Tata Main Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

The family suspects that it may be a murder because according to them the dead body bore injuries and it was found roughly 100 meters away from the car.

The family has demanded a postmortem, a thorough investigation into the incident, and the arrest of anyone who might be responsible for the death.

The police, on the other hand, say that the matter is under investigation and any further action would be taken based on the post mortem report.
