JAMSHEDPUR – The Communist Party of India (CPI) held a protest rally in Jamshedpur on Tuesday as part of its nationwide agitation against rising inflation, unemployment, and the demand for MSP rights for farmers.

The rally began from Sakchi Aambagan ground with a large number of CPI workers participating. Carrying party flags, the protesters raised slogans against the central government as they marched towards the district headquarters. At the end of the rally, a memorandum addressed to the President of India was submitted through the Deputy Commissioner.

Growing Concerns Over Inflation and Unemployment

Addressing the gathering, CPI district secretary Ambuj Thakur stated that inflation and unemployment have reached alarming levels. According to him, these issues are directly responsible for rising crimes in the country. He emphasized the need for immediate intervention by the President.

Thakur further highlighted the plight of farmers, stressing the importance of ensuring Minimum Support Price (MSP) rights to protect their livelihoods.

CPI’s Nationwide Movement

The CPI has launched a countrywide movement to draw attention to these pressing issues. Party leaders believe that only prompt government action can provide relief to citizens struggling with economic hardships.

The rally in Jamshedpur was a part of this larger effort to pressurize the authorities into addressing the economic concerns faced by common people.
