Jamshedpur: Yoga Day Celebration Unites DBMS Kadma High School

JAMSHEDPUR – DBMS Kadma High School commemorates International Yoga Day with a vibrant celebration, fostering unity and wellness.
The hallowed halls of DBMS Kadma High School’s ‘Kalakriti’ auditorium buzzed with energy as students gathered for a special occasion.
Nearly 200 seventh-graders participated in the school’s International Yoga Day festivities.
"Yoga connects our youth with their cultural roots while promoting holistic health," remarked Mrs. Gurpreet Bhambra, the school’s principal.
The event showcased a variety of yoga postures, including Suryanamaskar and Vajrasana, guided by expert instructor Ms. Leena Dutta.
Attendees learned about yoga’s numerous benefits for maintaining a balanced and joyful lifestyle.
"Our aim is to instill the value of mind-body harmony in our students," shared Mrs. Suparna Roy, one of the school’s vice principals.
The celebration was graced by managing committee members, including Mrs. Anita Ramkrishna and Mrs. Bhuvana Krishnan.
Staff members emphasized yoga’s role in fostering community peace and global unity.
Students expressed enthusiasm about incorporating yoga into their daily routines following the inspiring session.
