JAMSHEDPUR – AJSU workers protested in Sakchi over rising crime and corruption, burning an effigy of the chief minister.
A protest was held in Sakchi roundabout on Friday. Workers raised slogans against the state government.
Meanwhile, the demonstration was led by youth leader Mantu Shukla. He is also the city in-charge of the organization.
However, protesters burned an effigy of Hemant Soren during the event. They accused the government of failing to control crime.
Moreover, Shukla stated that law and order has collapsed. He said citizens feel unsafe across the state.
On the other hand, he highlighted frequent cases of theft and murder. He claimed authorities have failed to curb such incidents.
Meanwhile, he alleged corruption exists in every department. He said people are not receiving benefits of schemes.
Furthermore, he added that the party will continue protests. He stated the movement will persist until improvements occur.
In addition, a large number of workers attended the protest. They demanded strict action against corruption and crime.
Finally, the demonstration ended with an appeal to authorities. They urged steps to restore law and order in Jamshedpur.
