JAMSHEDPUR – Chief Justice Mahesh Sonak was formally welcomed with honors during his visit to the city.

The Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court arrived in Jamshedpur on an official visit. The district administration organized a formal reception ceremony.

Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi greeted him with a bouquet. He also presented a book as a mark of respect.

Moreover, officials arranged a ceremonial guard of honor. The event highlighted administrative protocol and respect for the judiciary.

Local artists performed traditional welcome rituals during the event. They used regional instruments and cultural expressions.

However, the Chief Justice interacted warmly with the performers. He showed interest in Jharkhand’s cultural traditions.

Meanwhile, he also played instruments like nagada and mandar. This gesture encouraged the participating artists.

Several senior officials attended the ceremony. District and Sessions Judge Arvind Kumar Pandey was present.

Moreover, Senior Superintendent of Police Piyush Pandey joined the event. City SP Kumar Shivashish and Rural SP Rishabh Garg also attended.

The visit reflected coordination between judiciary and administration. It also showcased regional culture to a constitutional authority.
