AJSU Party Celebrates Hul Day With March And New Member Induction
Former Minister Leads Commemorative Event, Welcomes Ex-JMM Supporters
The AJSU Party marked Hul Day with a grand march and welcomed new members, emphasizing party growth and upcoming electoral challenges.
JAMSHEDPUR – The AJSU Party District Committee commemorated Hul Day with a series of events, including a march led by former Minister Ramchandra Sahis and a meeting that saw several JMM supporters join their ranks.
Hundreds of participants marched from Parsudih Shitla Chowk to Sidhu Kanhu Chowk, honoring the statues of martyrs Sidhu-Kanhu to the rhythmic beats of traditional percussion instruments.
The march, held on Sunday, June 30, 2024, was followed by a gathering near the Panchayat Bhawan of South Panchayat Sarajamada.
During the meeting, Amit Mishra, Vishal Das, Amit Das, and Vikas Pandey, along with their supporters, officially switched allegiance from JMM to AJSU Party.
"Today marks a historic moment as we welcome these dedicated individuals to our cause," Ramchandra Sahis remarked during his address as the chief guest.
District President Kanhaiya Singh chaired the program, emphasizing the need to spread the party’s principles and expose what he termed as the current government’s deceitful practices.
"Your presence here, despite the heavy rain, shows your commitment to bringing about positive change in our region," Singh told the attendees.
The event also saw speeches from various party members, including Aditya Mahato, Sanjay Malakar, and Appu Tiwari, who rallied support for Sahis’ candidacy in the upcoming elections.
Bharat Mahato conducted the program, while Saurabh Rahul Singh delivered the vote of thanks, concluding a day filled with political fervor and party unity.
