JNAC’s Special Officer and flying squad enforce building and environmental regulations, sealing a building under construction without proper permissions and fining offenders.

JAMSHEDPUR – According to the directives of the Special Officer of the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee, under-construction buildings without approved blueprints have been brought under scrutiny.

Unapproved Construction Sealed

On Saturday, the Special Officer, along with junior engineer Pranav Kumar Thakur and the flying squad, stopped work at an under-construction building at Anil Sur Path, Kadma.

Upon inquiry, a man identified as M Malik accepted that the construction of the G+1 building was taking place.

However, the person failed to produce the required documentation related to the building and the land, which led to the junior engineer sealing the building as per directives.

Call to Produce Documents

The individual was instructed to present his case and bring the necessary documents to the Special Officer of the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee.

This action was carried out with the assistance of regional revenue personnel Prakash Bhagat, Binod Tiwari, and Ganesh Ram, along with junior engineer Pranav Thakur.

Enforcement of Environmental Regulations

In a separate operation under the guidance of the Special Officer of the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee, the City Manager Ravi Bharti, in-charge tax inspector MKL Das, and regional revenue personnel conducted a drive in various areas in Kadma and Sonri.

A total fine of Rs 15500 was levied on eight individuals for violations including the use of banned plastic, encroachment, and littering.
