SERAIKELA – The Kolhan DIG, Anuranjan Kispota, reached Seraikela on Friday to review security plans for the upcoming Durga Puja.
He chaired a meeting at the district police headquarters with DSPs and inspectors. During the session, he assessed preparations in detail and issued necessary directions.
However, before the meeting, Superintendent of Police Mukesh Kumar Luniyat welcomed him with a bouquet. The review lasted nearly two hours and covered station-wise arrangements for the festival.
Moreover, the DIG stressed that strict action would be taken against anyone attempting to disrupt peace during the celebrations. He added that special vigilance would be maintained over social media activities.
Meanwhile, speaking to the media, he clearly stated, “No one will be spared if they try to create unrest during the Puja.”
