  • Leaders warn of intensified agitation ahead

JAMSHEDPUR – Congress workers protested railway disruptions, citing long delays and daily commuter hardships in the city.

A protest took place near Sakchi at the JNAC roundabout on Monday. It was led by district Congress cooperative wing chief Chinna Rao.

Meanwhile, the demonstration targeted ongoing railway mismanagement in Jamshedpur. Protesters raised slogans against railway authorities during the event.

However, Congress leader Vijay Yadav highlighted severe delays on short routes. He said trains from Chandil are taking nearly four hours.

Moreover, he noted that the same journey usually takes around 30 minutes. He also claimed several trains fail to follow scheduled timings.

On the other hand, participants said daily commuters are facing serious inconvenience. Office workers and students are reportedly the most affected groups.

Meanwhile, protesters argued that railway negligence is disrupting routine life. They demanded urgent improvements in operations and punctuality.

Moreover, they called for better passenger facilities and stricter monitoring systems. They insisted that immediate corrective steps are necessary.

However, Congress leaders warned of stronger protests if demands remain unmet. They indicated that future agitation could intensify in coming days.
