JAMSHEDPUR – A 21-year-old woman was found dead after hanging herself in a village under Chakulia block, prompting a police investigation.

The incident occurred in Murathakura village under Jugitopa panchayat. The deceased was identified as Samarika Sabar, aged 21.

However, the discovery came late at night behind her residence. She allegedly used a cloth tied to a tree.

Meanwhile, family members found her hanging and raised alarm. The incident left the village in shock and grief.

On the other hand, police reached the spot soon after receiving information. Sub-Inspector Ajit Kumar led the team.
