Jamshedpur Police Arrest Five Persons Planning Robbery, Firing Suspect Among Detained

Five criminals including Sumit Gorai, involved in a previous firing incident, arrested in Domhani, Sonari, while planning a major heist, according to Sonari Police.

JAMSHEDPUR – Sonari police have arrested five criminals planning a robbery in Domhani, Sonari.

Among those arrested is Sumit Gorai, who was involved in a firing incident targeting Sumit Yadav alias Kallu in Khuntadih, Sonari.

Upon receiving confidential information about some youths preparing for a significant crime in Domhani, a team of officers immediately headed to the location.

Upon arrival, they encountered several youths both inside and outside a Scorpio vehicle.

While some managed to escape upon seeing the police, five criminals were apprehended.

The police seized one pistol, three live cartridges, and two swords from the criminals.

CCR DSP Animesh Gupta shared information about the arrests, confirming that the five criminals were caught while planning a robbery.

A case has been registered against the absconding criminals, and further action is being taken.

Notably, Sumit Gorai is among the arrested, and he was previously involved in a firing incident with Sumit Yadav in Khuntadih.

The police plan to take Sumit Gorai into custody to gather more information about others involved in the firing case.
