Jamshedpur Police Crack Ulidih Firing Case, Arrest Six

Loaded pistols and live bullets seized from both sides, dispute over land deal suspected as motive behind the shootout.

Within 24 hours of the firing incident in Sanjay Nagar, Ulidih police station area of Mango, Jamshedpur, the police have arrested six individuals from both sides involved in the shootout, recovering three loaded pistols and seven live bullets.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Jamshedpur police have swiftly solved the firing incident that occurred on Thursday night in Sanjay Nagar, located within the jurisdiction of Ulidih police station in Mango, by arresting six people from both sides involved in the shootout.

According to the police, bullets were fired from both sides during the incident.

The arrested individuals were found in possession of three loaded pistols and seven live bullets.

Police have also recovered approximately 15 to 20 shell casings from the crime scene.

Jamshedpur City SP Mukesh Lunayat, in a press conference, stated that the analysis of CCTV footage and other evidence has revealed that bullets were fired from both sides.

He further explained that the incident was a result of a dispute over a land deal, as the two gangs involved were previously working for Mango’s Amarnath gang but had developed a rift between them.

The City SP clarified that the incident was carried out due to a mutual dispute.

Police have registered two separate FIRs in the case, leading to the arrest of a total of six people.

Two individuals from one gang have been arrested, and two loaded pistols have been seized from them.

Four people from the other party have also been arrested, with one loaded pistol and bullets recovered from their possession.

The firing incident took place after the assailants entered the house of Guddu Pandey and his family members in Ulidih Sanjay Nagar, Mango, causing panic to spread in the area.

The incident was captured on CCTV, aiding the police in their investigation and swift action.
