Jamshedpur Police Arrest 3 Accused in Sonari Firing Incident, Sent to Jail
Three individuals, including Akash Singh alias Batla, arrested and sent to jail in connection with Sonari firing case
In the recent firing incident near Kapali Basti in the CH area of Sonari police station, Jamshedpur, three accused have been arrested and sent to jail on Wednesday.
JAMSHEDPUR – Three individuals, identified as Akash Singh alias Batla, Sumit Singh, and Mohit Thakur, have been sent to jail in connection with the firing incident that occurred near Kapali Basti in the Sonari police station area of Jamshedpur.
Police sources revealed that Akash Singh alias Batla, one of the accused, has a history of criminal activities.
The incident, which took place on Tuesday afternoon, resulted in two people being injured during a confrontation between criminals near Kapali Basti.
After sustaining injuries, local residents apprehended the attacker, Batla, and physically assaulted him before handing him over to the police.
Authorities also recovered a pistol from Batla’s possession during the arrest.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the firing incident stemmed from a dispute over the misappropriation of money.
According to reports, Batla had been engaged in ongoing conflicts with Abay Gop and Surya Hembram, who allegedly work for him and are part of the same criminal gang.
Tensions between the individuals had been escalating in the Sonari area in the days leading up to the incident.
Police have successfully arrested three individuals in connection with the firing case, and they have been remanded to judicial custody in jail.
The incident has raised concerns among residents about the growing criminal activities and gang-related violence in the Sonari area of Jamshedpur.
