Two Youths Apprehended by Residents After Snatching Chain from Woman Near Gopeshwar Park

Local residents in Jamshedpur successfully caught two chain snatchers and handed them over to the police, recovering the stolen item.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a swift act of vigilance, local residents apprehended two youths who had snatched a chain from a woman named Sushma near Gopeshwar Park under Telco police station in Jamshedpur.

The incident occurred near Gopeshwar Park, where the youths carried out the snatching.

Alert locals chased the culprits and caught them near Gulmohar School.

The two youths were riding a scooter bearing the number JH 05 BU 0611.

Upon being caught, the youths were beaten by the locals.

The snatched chain was recovered and the youths were handed over to the police.

The two apprehended youths have been identified as S Lohar from Adityapur and R Karmakar from Birsanagar.

The police are currently interrogating the suspects.

The swift action by the local residents prevented the culprits from escaping and ensured the recovery of the stolen chain.

This incident highlights the community’s active role in maintaining safety and assisting law enforcement.
