JAMSHEDPUR – Two separate late-night road accidents in the city left one person dead and three injured, raising concerns over traffic safety and roadside parking.

A fatal accident occurred near the circuit house in Bistupur area late at night. A scooter rider lost control and hit the divider.

However, the impact threw the rider onto the road. He died on the spot due to severe injuries.

Police later identified the deceased using his Aadhaar card. He was identified as Baliram Rajak, a resident of Sonari Ramnagar.

Meanwhile, officers informed the victim’s family soon after the incident. The body is being prepared for postmortem examination.

In contrast, another accident occurred in Chhota Govindpur under Govindpur police station. A car crashed into a stationary heavy vehicle parked roadside.

Moreover, three people inside the car suffered minor injuries. They were quickly taken to a nearby hospital.

However, no major loss of life was reported in this incident. Police reached the scene soon after receiving information.
