Firing in Mango Police Station Area Leaves One Dead, Policeman Injured

A violent incident in Jamshedpur’s Mango police station area resulted in a young man’s death and a policeman’s serious injury, with one criminal apprehended.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a shocking incident, Sajjad, also known as Tanga, fell victim to a fatal shooting on Jawahar Nagar Road No. 15 in the Mango police station area of Jamshedpur.

The young man succumbed to his injuries while receiving medical treatment.

In a rapid response, a policeman from the Tiger Mobile unit, who was seriously injured in the incident, is currently receiving treatment at TMH.

The scene of the crime witnessed a swift action where a Tiger Mobile jawan apprehended one of the assailants, finding three handguns and ammunition in his possession.

Reports indicate that Sajjad was the intended target of three criminals who arrived at the location.

After the shooting, the criminals attempted to flee but were confronted by Tiger Mobile unit jawans

While two of the perpetrators managed to escape with their belongings, the third was captured with three firearms.

Further investigations have revealed that the victim Sajjad too had cases against him including an accusation of targeting a Sonari businessman with a bomb.

Police are currently interrogating the apprehended criminal to unravel the full extent of the incident.
