Jamshedpur – A tragic incident occurred near Gol Pahadi loco gate under Parsudih police station in Jamshedpur on Wednesday, as a woman died after being struck by a train.

The Parsudih police were quick to arrive at the scene and began their investigation.

The deceased has been identified as Reena Sharma, a resident of the Gamharia police station area, who was reported to be mentally ill.

Upon receiving the news, her family members arrived at the scene and confirmed the identity of the body.

The victim’s brother informed authorities that Reena had been suffering from mental illness for several days.

The police took the body into custody and sent it for postmortem examination, as they continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
