GAMHARIA – On Tuesday, a 45-year-old payloader driver named Abhay Singh was brutally killed by the scrap mafia in the slag dumping yard of Tata Steel Long Products under Gamharia police station in Kharsawan district.

Abhay Singh was allegedly attacked with stones by the scrap mafia when he attempted to stop them from stealing scrap.

The incident has caused significant unease within the company premises.

Currently, there has been no official reaction from either the management or the police regarding the matter.
