CHAIBASA – Transport Minister Deepak Birua laid the foundation stone for a new degree college in Kendposi village of Hatgamharia block on Friday.

The minister emphasized the importance of higher education in rural areas. “This institution will significantly benefit students from nearby villages,” said a senior education official.

Community Engagement and Support

Local residents expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming educational facility. Meanwhile, the minister distributed blankets to villagers during the ceremony.

A community leader remarked, “This college will transform educational opportunities in our region.”

Administrative Participation

Block Development Officer Salkhu Hembram and Circle Officer Rishidev Kamal attended the event. Moreover, Zila Parishad member Pramila Pinguwa participated in the ceremony.

Several JMM district coordinators, including Vikas Gupta and Abhishek Sinku, were present. Furthermore, former block president Balwant Gop joined the gathering.
