JAMSHEDPUR – The district administration conducted written examination for chowkidar recruitment across 13 centers under strict security arrangements.

Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal made surprise visits to several examination centers. She inspected Jamshedpur High School and Tata Workers Union School, Uliyan.

Moreover, the DC reviewed CCTV monitoring arrangements at the centers. She directed officials to ensure peaceful conduct of exams.

Security Measures

The examination was conducted from 11 AM to 12:30 PM under tight security. All centers had CCTV cameras and videographers for surveillance.

In addition, thorough frisking of candidates was done before entry. Meanwhile, electronic gadgets were strictly prohibited inside exam halls.

Previous Recruitment Drive

This recruitment drive follows the last chowkidar hiring in 2021. At that time, over 5,000 candidates had appeared for 200 posts.

Furthermore, the district has increased security measures compared to previous years. On the other hand, biometric verification was introduced this time.
