Bike-borne criminals fire at youth near Kadma Ghoda Baba Mandir, escape

Jamshedpur: In a sensational crime causing commotion in nearby areas, 2 bike-borne criminals hiding face in monkey-caps fired at a youth near Ghora Baba Mandir in Kadma and managed to escape after injuring him. The youth was shot in the thighs.

The injured youth has been identified as Kanhu Sawai, a resident of Kusum Nagar.

Soon after receiving information, family members of Kanhu reached there and rushed him to MGMCH. After some time he was taken to TMH for better treatment.

Kanhu has been hit by bullet in the thigh.

He said that he was sitting near the Mandir with his friend Purushottam, when two bike-borne youths arrived there and the one sitting behind fired at him.

The two youths managed to flee after firing.

Kanji Sawai himself has been named in a couple of cases in the past.

In a 2010 firing case registered by Sakchi police, he was also sent to jail.

Police are looking into all possible angles. No arrests have been made yet.
