JAMSHEDPUR – A daytime burglary in Kadma’s Kalindi Road has raised serious concerns about urban safety and police vigilance.
The incident occurred in Kadma under Kadma police station limits. However, thieves targeted a locked house during the day.
The house belongs to Lokesh Kumar Singh, also called Gabbar. Meanwhile, the family was away during the incident.
The accused entered the house by breaking locks. Moreover, they accessed cupboards and searched valuables.
Gold and silver jewelry worth ₹8 to ₹10 lakh was stolen. Additionally, ₹25,000 in cash was taken.
The stolen items included necklaces, earrings, and nose ornaments. Meanwhile, other valuable ornaments were also missing.
Lokesh Kumar works as a crane operator in Bistupur police station. However, he was on duty near Jubilee Park during the incident.
His wife was at work in Tata Steel. Meanwhile, children had gone for tuition classes.
