JAMSHEDPUR – The Superintendent of Police (Rural) for East Singhbhum carried out a surprise inspection of the Jadugora police station on Sunday.
During the visit, officials thoroughly examined all records, registers and other important documents maintained at the station.
The SP reviewed papers related to various cases and assessed the overall state of record-keeping. He directed staff to keep records updated and ensure pending matters were resolved within a set timeframe.
Officials were also instructed to maintain transparency and quality in the station’s day-to-day functioning. Meanwhile, the SP issued further directions to the station in-charge and other officers present.
He ordered that all records and registers be maintained strictly according to prescribed norms. The visit also covered a review of the station premises, administrative arrangements and other policing-related matters.
Officials were told to remain vigilant in order to preserve law and order in the area. The inspection is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen accountability within the district police force.
