SERAIKELA – Chief Minister Hemant Soren distributed assets and inaugurated development projects worth over ₹1,000 crore in Seraikela-Kharsawan district on Tuesday.
The Jharkhand government organized a special ‘Government at Your Doorstep’ camp at the Cashew Garden Ground in Dobo, Seraikela-Kharsawan district.
At the event, assets valued at ₹472.16 crore were distributed among beneficiaries from West and East Singhbhum districts.
Additionally, projects worth ₹555.83 crore were inaugurated or had foundation stones laid.

Chief Minister Soren addressed the gathering, highlighting his administration’s commitment to effective implementation of welfare schemes.
“We are touring the entire state to ensure that public welfare initiatives are reaching the intended beneficiaries,” Soren stated.
Improved Pension Distribution
The Chief Minister emphasized the improved pension distribution system in Jharkhand.
“Gone are the days when elderly citizens had to struggle for their pensions,” Soren remarked.
He added, “Today, you won’t find a single eligible person without a pension in our state.”
Political Support and Attendance
Several political figures attended the event, demonstrating support for the government’s initiatives.
JMM MLA Samir Mohanty from Bahragora and Congress MLA Sonaram Sinku from Jagannathpur were present.
Ministers and MLAs from the Kolhan region, including Deepak Birua and Ramadas Soren, also participated in the program.
