Scientist Anand Ranganathan shows gratitude to two gurus and wins hearts

Social Media Desk: The indomitable scientist and commentator Anand Ranganathan, who is known for his famous and destructive ’30-second’ interjections on Times Now and Republic TV as a panelist, has mentioned and expressed gratitude for two of his gurus on Guru Purnima.

One of them is Gobardhan Das, Professor, Molecular Medicine in JNU. And the other is @bharadwajspeaks, whose real and full name is still little known and who is known for his nuggets in history that he disseminates through his social media handles.

@BharadwajSpeaks earned fame through his previous twitter handle @trueindology, which was banned by Twitter. This single step of banning TrueIndology has earned Twitter the wrath of thousands of his fans and brought the focus on Twitter as a biased social media company like never before.

Anand Ranganathan is a scientist and professor. In 2015 he joined Special Centre for Molecular Medicine, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi, as an Associate Professor. His laboratory works in the area of Directed Evolution and Pathogenesis, with special emphasis on Tuberculosis and Malaria.

Anand has written three books, all novels: The Land of the Wilted Rose (Rupa, 2012); For Love and Honour (Bloomsbury, 2015); The Rat Eater (Juggernaut, 2017; co-authored with Chitra Subramaniam).

The fact that someone like him has mentioned an anonymous handle like @bharadwajspeaks as his guru is something that has not come as a surprise for anyone who has been following the latter on social media.

@bhardwajspeaks is someone who is credited with an avalanche of small nuggets that exposed the lies of history heaped upon India by so-called-marxist historians.

Even before him, doyens of Indian history like Sitaram Goel, Ram Swarup and Arun Shourie and several others, have been exposing the lies written and pushed in the name of history.

However, their work remained limited to academics and journals and had not created sensational ripples among the masses as the social media handles @TrueIndology and later @BhardwajSpeaks did.

Anand Ranganathan’s humble gratitude has elicited a very positive response from his followers, who are loving and liking his simple one liner.

Aparnaa too has expressed her sentiments.

One of the two gurus mentioned by him, Gobardhan Das, has in turn said that he does not know who is guru and who is shishya. He commented: “You are the inspiration who made me win with a spirit. It wouldn’t have been possible without you, Happy Guru Purnima!”

@BharadwajSpeaks is yet to react on this huge tweet from Anand Ranganathan. However, for now, the focus is entirely on him because someone as accomplished and senior as Anand Ranganathan has mentioned someone, who is so young, and from as ‘arty’ a subject as ‘history’, as his GURU.

@BharadwajSpeaks is someone who busted several false historical myths pushed by the secular and liberal brigade of India freely for several decades.
