Golmuri Unites for 10th International Yoga Day Celebration

JAMSHEDPUR – Krida Bharati Jamshedpur Mahanagar and social organization Koshish Ek Muskan Laane Ki hosted a community yoga camp at Kebul Cricket Ground in Golmuri on Wednesday, marking the 10th International Yoga Day.
The event saw participation from diverse sections of society, uniting in the practice of yoga.
Naveen Chaurasia, a yoga instructor from Art of Living, guided attendees through various yoga asanas, promoting physical and mental well-being.
Members of Koshish organization planted trees along the field’s periphery, combining the yoga celebration with an environmental conservation message.
Shiv Shankar Singh, President of Krida Bharati Jamshedpur Mahanagar and patron of Koshish, emphasized yoga’s significance, stating, "Yoga exemplifies India’s cultural heritage, harmonizing body, mind, and soul."
Singh urged participants to integrate yoga into their daily routines, highlighting its holistic benefits.
Chief guest Prasenjit Tiwari, Honorary General Secretary of Tulsi Bhavan, graced the occasion with his presence.
Kanhaiya Singh, District President of AJSU Jamshedpur, attended as a distinguished guest, underlining the event’s community importance.
Other notable attendees included Rajeev Kumar, Provincial Secretary of Krida Bharati, Y.P. Singh, Paritosh Singh, Tridev Singh, Ratan Mahto, and Ravi Singh.
The diverse gathering reflected the community’s growing interest in yoga and its health benefits.
