Jamshedpur honors over 100-time blood donors, inspiring future generations.
In a unique tribute, Birsa Yuva Manch recognizes individuals for their substantial contributions to saving lives through repeated blood donations, highlighting the importance of dispelling myths around blood donation.
JAMSHEDPUR – Highlighting the collective effort to debunk myths surrounding blood donation, the event was graced by notable personalities, including Kshatriya Sangh President Sambhu Singh, academic Professor Parasnath Mishra, retired tax officer Sita Ram, and social workers Deepak Bhalotia, Puran Verma, Yogesh Malhotra, and Shankar Reddy. Bharatiya Manadhik’s District President Shivnath Paul also marked his presence, adding prestige to the occasion.
Members of Birsa Yuva Manch, including Balwinder Singh Kalsi, Madan Mohan Singh, Jagtar Singh Nagi, Ashok Munda, Vishwajit Singh, Soumyajit Tiwari Yash, and others, were acknowledged for their support and participation in the event.
The ceremony saw the felicitation of eminent blood donors such as Sukhvir Singh Mandla, Edward Kujur, M.V. Prasad, Satpal Singh, Sailesh Kumar Singh, Arun Pathak, Sudeep Bose, Jayant Kumar Bhuniya, T. Deepak, K. Venkat Rao, Subir Kumar Kundu, and Manoj Kumar Jha, who have each donated blood more than 100 times.
Jamshedpur’s Senior Superintendent of Police, Kaushal Kishore, praised the initiative for its role in fostering awareness and combating misconceptions about blood donation. He emphasized the health and vitality of a 70-year-old who has donated blood over 100 times, illustrating that blood donation is safe and beneficial.
Founder Co-Chairman Rajeev Ranjan Singh of Birsa Yuva Manch underscored Jamshedpur’s unique culture of celebrating blood donation as a communal festivity. He expressed pride in honoring individuals who have significantly contributed to saving lives through their generous donations.
This event, hosted by Birsa Yuva Manch in Jamshedpur’s Circuit House area, aimed to inspire future generations by honoring "Life Savers" – individuals who have donated blood more than 100 times, affirming the city’s commitment to promoting blood donation as a vital community service.
