Marwari Yuva Manch Hosts Successful Blood Donation Camp in Jamshedpur

Tatanagar Achievers branch collects 130 units during Formation Week event

Community leaders emphasize importance of regular blood donation.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Tatanagar Achievers branch of Marwari Yuva Manch organized a blood donation camp at Chamber Bhavan in Bistupur on Thursday, marking the first day of their Formation Week celebrations.

The camp, held in memory of late Deenanath Agarwal and Sita Devi Agarwal, collected 130 units of blood from donors.

Arun Gupta, Provincial President of Marwari Yuva Manch, inaugurated the event alongside other dignitaries including former BJP District President Dinesh Kumar and branch President Anshul Ringasia.

"Blood donation is a noble act," Gupta stated, praising the initiative. "Our goal is to make Jharkhand a leader in blood donation across India."

Gupta emphasized the importance of regular donation, saying, "Donating blood doesn’t weaken the body; instead, it can save precious lives. We should aim to donate at least two to three times a year."

The event saw participation from various community leaders and social workers, who encouraged donors and highlighted the importance of blood donation.

Notably, former BJP District President Dinesh Kumar completed his 50th personal blood donation at the camp. "I’ve been donating regularly since 1998," Kumar shared. "Blood donation is a great service, and Jamshedpur ranks second in the country for blood donation awareness."

The successful organization of the camp was attributed to the efforts of branch officials and volunteers, including Secretary Vijay Soni, Treasurer Pratik Agarwal, and Blood Coordinator Shiv Chaudhary.

This initiative by Marwari Yuva Manch underscores the community’s commitment to social welfare and public health in Jamshedpur.
