JAMSHEDPUR – A raucous crowd of 20,000 fans propelled Jamshedpur FC to a thrilling 3-2 victory over Mumbai City FC in the Indian Super League.

The JRD Tata Sports Complex was electric as the match unfolded.

However, Mumbai City FC struck first with Nikos Karelis scoring in the 18th minute.

Undeterred, the home fans continued their unwavering support.

Their faith was rewarded when Jordan Murray equalized with a header in the 36th minute.

Imran Khan’s assist set up Murray’s goal, showcasing his tireless efforts on the right flank.

Meanwhile, Javi Hernandez capitalized on a free kick, giving Jamshedpur a 2-1 lead before halftime.

The crowd’s enthusiasm reached new heights in the second half.

Hernandez netted his second goal, extending Jamshedpur’s lead to 3-1.

On the other hand, Mumbai City FC fought back with Yoell Van Nieff scoring in the 77th minute.

Nevertheless, the Men of Steel held firm, drawing strength from their passionate supporters.

This victory marks Jamshedpur FC’s second consecutive win of the season.

The team now looks forward to facing Odisha FC at Kalinga Stadium on September 28th.
