Jayant Sinha Addresses BJP Jamshedpur Business Conference on Modi Govt’s 9th Anniversary

Former Union Minister Jayant Sinha and MP Bidyut Mahato attend BJP Jamshedpur’s Business Conference, discuss trader-related policies of the Modi government.

JAMSHEDPUR – A business conference, part of the public relations campaign celebrating the completion of nine years of the central government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was held at Hotel Alcor, Bistupur.

Organized by the BJP Jamshedpur Mahanagar unit and chaired by BJP Jamshedpur Mahanagar President Gunjan Yadav, the event saw the attendance of notable guests including former Union Minister of State Jayant Sinha, Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahto, and hundreds of local businessmen.

Sinha Addresses the Assembly

Former Union Minister Jayant Sinha commended the dedication of the business class to national progress, highlighting the Modi government’s trader-friendly initiatives and policies. He emphasized that the government has implemented concrete policies for easier and simpler business operations over its nine-year tenure, enhancing the country’s reputation on the global stage.

India’s Economic Rise

Sinha pointed out that under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, India has become the fastest-growing large economy, paying special attention to trade, technology, and tourism. India, once ranked 11th among economically developed countries, has now reached the 5th position, surpassing Britain. If the current pace is maintained, Sinha believes India will be the third largest economic superpower by 2030.

Historic Reforms and the Impact of GST

Sinha elaborated on the significant reforms undertaken since 2014, including the implementation of the historical tax reform, the GST. He claimed that India was the first country to abolish 37 indirect taxes on such a large scale, testifying to the impactful governance of the Modi government.

Mahato on National Security and Welfare Schemes

MP Bidyut Baran Mahato underscored the country’s internal security and the launch of welfare schemes like Jan Dhan Yojana and Ayushman Bharat Yojana. Highlighting the removal of Article 370, Mahato attributed new strength to the nation’s integrity to the current government’s relentless efforts.

Focus on Local Issues and Future Plans

Issues of local significance, like the construction of an airport in Dhalbhumgarh, were also raised during the conference. Mahato assured that the problems faced by Jamshedpur will be resolved under the BJP’s "double engine" government. Efforts made by the Modi government in the field of tourism in East Singhbhum district were also discussed.
