SSP Assures Intensive Investigation and Increased Patrolling Amidst Election Tensions
Three criminals executed a broad daylight robbery at MB Jewelers near Aerodrome Bazaar under Sonari police station in Jamshedpur, challenging the police during the election period.
JAMSHEDPUR – A delegation of Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Jamshedpur Jewellers’ Association on Monday met the SSP of Jamshedpur Kishore Kaushal and urged him to nab the criminals responsible for the Sonari MB Jewellers Heist as soon as possible.
It may be recalled here that three individuals committed a daring robbery at MB Jewelers, which is situated near Aerodrome Bazaar, during daylight hours. This audacious act took place during the ongoing election, posing a challenge to the local authorities.
Earlier this week, members of the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Jamshedpur Jewelers Association had a meeting with Kishore Kaushal, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) East Singhbhum, at his residential office.
They requested him to quickly apprehend the criminals, retrieve the stolen goods, and provide information about the robbery incident.
Vijay Anand Moonka, the President of Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry, highlighted the considerable challenge faced by the police in dealing with such a major crime during the election period.
He strongly urged for a prompt investigation of the incident and for an increase in police presence in the markets.
SSP Kishore Kaushal provided reassurance to the delegation that the district police are diligently working to apprehend the criminals.
We are currently tracking the whereabouts of the suspects by monitoring a number of suspicious mobile numbers.
A team has been sent to Bihar to locate the person responsible.
Kaushal highlighted the gravity of the situation and conveyed optimism that the perpetrators will be apprehended and the stolen items will be retrieved in the near future.
The Chamber President had a productive discussion with the SSP for about 45 minutes, covering a range of important topics such as law and order and traffic. During the conversation, the Chamber President also had the opportunity to provide valuable suggestions.
The SSP confirmed that a meeting with the Chamber is scheduled to take place soon in order to address these issues.
The delegation consisted of various members, including Singhbhum Chamber President Vijay Anand Munka, Bipin Adesara from Jewelers Association, Honorary General Secretary of the Chamber Manav Kedia, Vice President PRW Abhishek Aggarwal Goldy, Secretaries Anshul Ringsiya, Vinod Sharma, Kamal Singhania, Chetan Adesara, Kirit Adesara, Rupesh Ranpara, Dinesh Vagadia, Manoj Adesara, Kaushal Jain, Krit Adesara, and Pritam Jain.
