Foundation’s Athletes Excel in Bouldering and Lead Events at Kolkata Meet

JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel Adventure Foundation athletes dominated the All-India Open Sport Climbing Championship 2025, securing 28 medals.
The foundation sent a strong contingent to the Kolkata event. The team included 37 athletes and six instructors. Moreover, they competed across multiple age categories.
Outstanding Performances
Sagar Lohar clinched gold in Junior Boys bouldering category. Meanwhile, Sonu Jamuda secured gold in lead climbing. Additionally, Shankar Singh Kuniya won two golds in Sub-Junior events.
The girls showed remarkable skill in their categories. Puja Sinku dominated Junior Girls division. Furthermore, Aditi Modak excelled in Sub-Junior competition.
Senior Category Success
Sudha Rani Mahato secured gold in Open Women’s bouldering. Meanwhile, Nitu Mahato topped the lead climbing event. Additionally, Ranjan Pradhan won silver in Open Men’s category.
Growing Legacy
The championship ran from January 13 to 17. “Our athletes showed exceptional dedication,” remarked a senior TSAF instructor. Furthermore, the results reflect years of systematic training.
